Capable of routing component video outputs as well as analog and digital audio outputs of 8 different sources to 8 independent TVs, the P-1488 is ideal for larger homes or sports bars. The ability to deliver HD video as well as digital audio to multiple rooms of the home makes it possible to create setup of 5.1 surround sound home theater systems in all the bedrooms, while keeping the source components centralized in a main distribution area.

Controlling the P-1488 can be as simple and intuitive as using the front panel buttons. For larger home installations, one of Channel Visions IR repeating systems can be used to allow control from several different rooms of the house. Sophisticated touchscreen automation systems can easily interface with the P-1488 through its RS-232 port.
