Custom Home Intercom Systems by Channel Vision are designed with a whole-house CAT5 intercom system, for room to room communication, using the existing phones in the house.

The easy to install front door intercom system and front door entry system allows you to talk to the visitor at the front door from any telephone in the house, and see them through a built in camera. In addition, our high quality doorstations give home communications a new "high class" appeal.

Front door intercoms prevent most home invasions and house robbers while you are home. We've heard on tv and police reports on countless times when a knock on the front door is answered, it's not who you may expect! Taken by surprise, they're inside your house threatening your wife and children with bodily harm unless you..

Protect yourself and loved ones with a phone intercom system to talk to the person before opening the front door. Simple installation, use the 2 wires from the doorbell which is wired to a transformer that is typically located in the garage. Now wire those to the location of the incoming phone line which is also typically located in the garage. Place our controller where they intersect along with the supplied transformer and every phone in the house including your wireless phone can speak to the person at the front door. A front door entry system with our optional door strike release will allow you to open the door or gate by pressing a number on your phone to allow a person you know enter without ever leaving the comfort of your couch.

Front Door Intercom systems provide communication between the front door and any phone in the house. When a visitor presses the doorbell button the phones in the house will ring with a distinctive telephone ring. The home owner can then speak to the person at the front door by answering any ringing telephone in the home.

Multiple Intercom Stations & Operation
The P-0921 provides communication between two different Channel Vision door intercoms and any phone in the house. When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the phones in the house will respond with a distinctive ring. The homeowner can then speak to the visitor by answering any of the ringing phones in the house.

When the button is pressed on the door-intercom, the phones in the house will ring. If a doorbell chime and transformer are connected to the CHIME contact, the doorbell chime will also be heard.
If the phone is answered within 20 seconds, it will be automatically connected to the door-intercom. If the phone is answered after 20 seconds simply press ## (or**) to be connected.
(Note: the activation key is determined by the switch labeled # or *)

To send a whole-house page from any phone, press #5 (or*5).

The Door Strike is an optional relay that works with the FRONT DOOR CAT 5 INTERCOM SYSTEM to control an electronic gate or door opener. While speaking to the door-intercom, the STRIKE1 contact can be activated by pressing #71 (or*71). The Unlock Door terminals can be momentarily shorted with a simple push button which will activate the strike without use of a telephone.
