JDSU/Test-Um is an industry-leading provider of home networking test instruments for the FTTx and digital cable markets.

Utilizing the JDSU/Test-Um Validator-NT network management tool, Channel Vision authorized dealers and integrators can now confidently design, trouble-shoot and certify Channel Vision systems and offer a 20-Year Certified Extended Warranty to their customers.

The program provides dealers with a means to confidently offer a solid extended warranty by utilizing proven industry standards for certification, and test equipment that is backed by the worldwide leading provider of test and measurement equipment.

The JDSU/Test-Um Validator-NT, allows installers to certify, identify active components, configure links between the nodes and document the network with the included Plan-Um software. The Validator-NT certifies CAT5, CAT5E and CAT6 Ethernet cables to be IEEE compliant, tests to TIA 568/570 interconnect standards, qualifies VoIP lines and tests coax, telephone, audio and security cables.
