DVRs, Cameras & Web Server

DVRs

Channel Vision offers several DVR Lines.

A DVR (digital video recorder) is not unlike a cable DVR, except it records cameras.
What a DVR can do is record a certain number of cameras and allow you to see your cameras from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.

You can record with motion, a time you set yourself, or simply record forever.
Channel Vision's DVR-N series use IDE hard drives, and the DVR-C series use SATA hard drives.

The first is MJPEG compression (simple compression), the
DVR-4JN
The DVR-4JN is a basic DVR. It is cost effective and easy to use.
It requires little setup and could be considered plug-and-play.
Being a basic DVR, the 4JN series uses a removable hard drive, and no remote control.
You can view the JN series online, with viewer software.

The second DVR line is the
DVR-N series
There are 2 versions of this series.
The first version is 120 Frames Per Second for the 4, 8, and 16 Channel versions.
The newest version Channel Vision offers is the same part name and same price, but 480 Frames Per Second (16 Channel) and 240 Frames Per Second , (8 Channel) making Channel Vision's new N series full real-time DVRs. There are 2 ways to view the N series online, with Internet Explorer or DVR Viewer.

Channel Vision now offers a third line of DVRs, the DVR-C Series.
Currently the only version available is the DVR-16C. All of the DVR-C DVRs come standard with VGA, DVR+RW drive as well as H.264 compression.
